Enhanced control technique for a sensor-less wind driven doubly fed induction generator for energy conversion purpose

The current paper is concerned with introducing a predictive polar flux control (PPFC) scheme for variable speed wind driven doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) without sensor. operation of the designed PPFC based on power angle regulation. adaptation process performed through studying relation between generator’s torque and stator rotor vectors. A robust observer back-stepping theory to estimate speed, currents, resistances. Furthermore, an effective maximum point tracking (MPPT) achieve optimal exploitation. To recognize schemed PPFC, discursive performance evaluation modeled classic (PTC) scheme. achieved results report that DFIG’s effectively enhanced proposed in comparison PTC technique. improved dynamics are observed ripples reduction reduced switching frequency. In addition, has successfully managed estimating specified variables high precision.
